Neuromuscular disorders encompass a range of conditions that affect the nerves and muscles, leading to various symptoms such as muscle weakness, spasms, and impaired coordination.
A Special Interest Group (SIG) focused on neuromuscular disorders has been formed under AOCN to bring together a group of individuals, professionals and organizations with a shared interest in advancing knowledge, research, and advocacy related to neuromuscular disorders.

The Special Interest Group (SIG) on Neuromuscular Disorders organized weekly sessions in August 2023 to address various aspects of research, clinical practice, and support related to these conditions. These sessions were designed to engage professionals, researchers, caregivers, and individuals directly affected by neuromuscular disorders
